Meditation is a technique that is used to calm the mind and body.  It is a temporary relief from all kinds of suffering.  Meditation also prepares the mind to be stable for the practice of mindfulness. 
This hour includes guided meditation and mindfulness instruction.  It is suitable for all levels, including beginners.  Meditation Hour is a safe  space for women to gather and explore these practices.  (Chairs are provided).

What is Meditation Hour?

Meditation Hour began in 2009 with the Spirituelle Diva Organization. When the Divas closed its doors, Karen continued holding sessions in her home.  It is held one to two times a month for women to come together to meditate in a comfortable and safe environment. The hour includes guided meditation, spiritual quotes, meditation instruction and music.  It is an opportunity to take a brief reprieve from life, to stop the inner chatter and connect with your natural inner tranquility. Meditation Hour is open to meditators of all levels.
